SACRAMENTO, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Sacramento Kings guard-forward Francisco Garcia fractured his right forearm lifting weights and will have surgery Saturday, the team reported.

Garcia, 27, was hurt "during a weightlifting session before practice" Friday, the report on the Kings' Web site said.

The Kings picked Garcia in the 2005 NBA draft.

Last season, Garcia averaged 12.7 points and 3.4 rebounds in 65 games.
