BEIJING, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Novak Djokovic and Nikolay Davydenko had lopsided, second-round victories Wednesday at the $3.3 million China Open tennis tournament in Beijing.

Djokovic, seeded second, landed fewer than half his first serves but still posted an efficient 6-3, 6-0 triumph over Viktor Troicki. Djokovic broke Troicki's serve four times and didn't have to deal with a single break-point situation.

The No. 4-seeded Davydenko was on the court 56 minutes in his 6-1, 6-0 dismantling of Philipp Kohlschreiber. He lost just eight points in seven service games. Davydenko is looking for his second consecutive ATP tournament championship.

He draws eighth-seeded Marin Cilic in Friday's quarterfinals. Cilic was a 6-2, 2-6, 6-0 winner over Julien Benneteau in his second-round match.

Djokovic was paired against Fernando Verdasco in the quarterfinals. Verdasco, seeded fifth, took a 7-5, 6-4 win over Juan Carlos Ferrero.

The second round wraps up Thursday with matches that involve top-seeded Rafael Nadal, sixth-seeded Robin Soderling and No. 7-seeded Fernando Gonzalez.

The tournament finals are set for Sunday, with the China Open men's champion winning $500,000.
