PRATTVILLE, Ala., Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Defending champion Lorena Ochoa shot a 2-under-par 70 Sunday and won the Navistar LPGA Classic in Prattville, Ala., by four strokes.

Ochoa, the world's top-ranked woman golfer, had an overall score of 18-under 270 at the Capitol Hill Golf Club.

Ochoa, who won $195,000, said she has been playing well in recent weeks.

"I've been working hard and I guess I'm proud, because it's just a good feeling," the Mexican star said.

Michelle Wie shot a 66 and Brittany Lang had a 70 to finish tied for second place at 274 and Yani Tseng (70) and Janice Moodie (71) shared fourth at 275.

Fourteen-year-old amateur Alexis Thompson, who was a co-leader at the tournament's halfway mark, shot her second straight 74 and ended up in a tie for 27th place.
