Tommie Harris' wife dies

HOUSTON, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Houston's Steve Slaton scored two touchdowns and Jacoby Jones ran a kickoff back 95 yards for another Sunday in a 29-6 Texans win over the Oakland Raiders.
Slaton scored on a 32-yard run and caught an 18-yard scoring pass from Matt Schaub.
Schaub finished with 224 yards on 11 completions in 22 attempts, helping Houston even its record at 2-2.
.The Texans' defense limited Oakland (1-3) to Sebastian Janikowski field goals of 46 and 33 yards
The Raiders managed just 165 total yards, 128 accumulated by quarterback JaMarcus Russell, who completed 12-of-33 passes.
