DENVER, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Kyle Orton passed for two Denver touchdowns and the Broncos held off Dallas with a late goal-line stand Sunday, beating the Cowboys 17-10.
A 51-yard scoring pass from Orton to Brandon Marshall with 1:46 remaining turned out to be the game-winner for Denver (4-0).
On the next possession, the Cowboys had first-and-goal from the 8-yard line but were turned back by the Denver defense -- which had five sacks, forced a fumble and intercepted a pass in holding Dallas scoreless after the first quarter.
Orton was 20-of-29 for 243 yards. His other TD pass was a 9-yarder to Knowshon Moreno.
Tony Romo was 25-of-42 passing for 255 yards with an interception for Dallas (2-2)
Marion Barber scored on a 1-yard run for Dallas, which led 10-0 after the first quarter.
