COL FB: Southern Cal 30, California 3

BERKELEY, Calif., Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Joe McKnight ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead seventh-ranked Southern Cal to a 30-3 win over No. 19 California.

Matt Barkley connected on 20-of-35 passes for 283 yards and was picked off once for the Trojans (4-1, 2-1 Pac-10). Damian Williams caught eight passes for 101 yards and ran back a punt 66 yards for a score.

Kevin Riley was 15-of-40 passing for 199 yards and was intercepted once for California (3-2, 0-2). Jahvid Best was held to 47 yards on 14 carries.
