BOSTON, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Rod Barajas had a three-run homer Monday to help the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Boston Red Sox 11-5 in a rain-shortened game.
Jose Bautista added a two-run homer and also had three RBI while Lyle Overbay drove in two runs for the Blue Jays, who have won four in a row and seven of their last eight games.
Scott Richmond (8-10) went six innings for the win, allowing four runs and six hits.
Kevin Youkilis hit two home runs and had three RBI for the Red Sox, who have lost four in a row. David Ortiz homered and Dustin Pedroia added an RBI double for Boston.
Losing pitcher, Michael Bowden (0-1) lasted just three innings, giving up seven runs and seven hits.
The game was stopped after seven innings.
