PITTSBURGH, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Andy LaRoche had five hits, including two homers, and six RBI Monday to power the Pittsburgh Pirates in an 11-1 rout of the LA Dodgers.

Garrett Jones had two hits, including a solo homer, and drove in two runs for Pittsburgh, which took three of four to win a series from the Dodgers for the first time in three years. Andrew McCutchen was 3-for-4 and scored three times for the Pirates.

Pittsburgh's Zach Duke (11-15) gave up one run on four hits, struck out six and walked one in 8 2/3 innings and also drove in a run.

Chin-lung Hu drove in the lone run for the Dodgers, who were attempting to clinch the NL West with a magic number of one. The Dodgers have a 4 1/2 games lead over the Colorado Rockies in the division.
