CARSON, Calif., Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Juan Pablo Angel's goal in the 84th minute Saturday helped New York finish in a 1-1 Major League Soccer tie with Chivas USA.

Angel returned from a two-game absence because of a sprained right ankle to score his league-leading 10th goal this season.

The Goats (11-10-4) had a chance to prevail, but Sacha Kljestan missed a penalty kick in stoppage time, preventing them from securing a much-needed three points in the Western Conference standings.

Kljestan did score in the 64th minute.

Despite Angel's late tally, the Red Bulls (4-17-6) have not won in their last 25 road matches (0-18-7).
