
PHOENIX, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Chad Tracy's pinch-hit grand slam Saturday boosted Arizona to an 8-5 win over San Diego.
Tracy, batting for relief pitcher Daniel Schlereth, blasted his seventh homer of the season to right-center with two outs in the bottom of the seventh.
Mark Reynolds had two hits -- one a solo homer, his career-high 44th this season.
Justin Upton also had two hits and one RBI.
Chris Young had two hits, while two others had one RBI each for the Diamondbacks, who had lost five of six.
Schlereth (1-4) won for the first time in the majors with a scoreless seventh.
Juan Gutierrez earned his seventh save.
Five batters knocked in one run apiece, while Chase Headley and Everth Cabrera had two hits each for the Padres, who had won six of seven.
The losing pitcher was Luke Gregerson (2-4).
