Chicago boxer dies in first title fight

DANVILLE, Calif., Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Sophie Gustafson closed with a 4-under-par 68 Sunday and won the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge at Danville, Calif.
Gustafson finished at 20-under 268, four shots ahead of Lorena Ochoa (72), the world's top-ranked woman golfer.
The win at the Blackhawk course was the 35-year-old Swede's fifth on the tour.
Gustafson and Ochoa, who posted an overall score of 272, had shared the lead after three rounds.
Amy Yang (66) and Sun Young Yoo (68) tied for third at 274.
