Tommie Harris' wife dies

TORONTO, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Travis Snider drove in three runs Monday to lead the Toronto Blue Jays to a 9-2 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.
The Blue Jays had sixth-inning solo homers by Lyle Overbay and John McDonald while ending a four-game losing streak. Adam Lind and Edwin Encarnacion added two-run singles for Toronto.
David Purcey (1-2), making his seventh start of the season, was charged with four hits and a run with four walks in 7 2/3 innings.
Chris Tillman (2-4) gave up four runs and six hits over five-plus innings as the Orioles suffered their fifth straight loss.
Felix Pie drove in both runs for Baltimore.
