NASHVILLE, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- A late 23-yard Kris Brown field goal was the game-winner for Houston, which got four TD throws from Matt Schaub Sunday and outlasted the Tennessee Titans 34-31.
Brown's kick, from 23 yards, came with 2:55 remaining in the game, which was highlighted by several big plays.
Schaub completed 25-of-39 passes for 357 yards. He hit Andre Johnson on scoring throws of 19 and 72 yards, Jacoby Jones on a 29-yarder and Owen Daniels on a 1-yard play to help the Texans even their record at 1-1.
Tennessee's Chris Johnson ran for touchdowns of 91 and 57 yards and caught a 69-yard scoring pass, racking up a total of 284 yards.
Kerry Collins was 21-of-33 for 216 yards and two touchdowns for the Titans (0-2) but his fumble late in the game helped Houston clinch the win.
