MlB: Milwaukee 7, Houston 2

MILWAUKEE, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Jody Gerut and Casey McGehee had two RBI each Saturday, leading the Milwaukee Brewers to a 7-2 win over the Houston Astros.

Both hit two-run singles in a five-run seventh.

Ryan Braun had three hits and one RBI.

J.J. Hardy and Prince Fielder drove in one run each, while Felipe Lopez also had two hits for the Brewers, who have won four in a row.

Winner Jeff Suppan (7-10) gave up two runs and five hits in seven innings with no walks and seven strikeouts.

Houston's Hunter Pence hit a solo seventh-inning homer.

Chris Johnson hit an RBI ground out, while four others had one hit apiece for the Astros, who have lost six straight.

The losing pitcher was reliever Tim Byrdak (1-2).

Starter Brian Moehler surrendered two runs -- one earned -- and five hits in six innings.
