MLS: Houston 3, Real Salt Lake 2

HOUSTON, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Brad Davis scored in the 81st minute Saturday, leading Houston to a 3-2 Major League Soccer victory against Real Salt Lake.

Davis also assisted on goals by Brian Ching in the second minute and Geoff Cameron in the fifth, becoming the second MLS player this season with double digits in assists (10).

The Dynamo (12-8-7) stayed atop the Western Conference with 42 points by snapping a four-game winless streak (0-2-2) and are the seventh team in MLS history to score two goals in the first five minutes.

RSL's goals were scored by Kyle Beckerman in the 27th minute and Yura Movsisyan in the 60th.

RSL (9-10-7) lost despite six saves by goalkeeper Nick Rimando and lost for the first time in its first time in its last four games (2-1-1).
