Tommie Harris' wife dies

OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Adam Kennedy's three hits and three RBI Sunday boosted the Oakland Athletics to an 11-4 rout of Cleveland, capping a four-game sweep.
Kennedy hit an RBI single and a two-run homer. Ryan Sweeney had two hits and two RBI, Scott Hairston and Rajai Davis had two hits and one RBI apiece and Jack Cust had two hits for the Athletics, who have won seven in a row.
Winner Dana Eveland (2-3) allowed a run and five hits in five innings.
Asdrubal Cabrera led Cleveland with two hits and one RBI. Michael Brantley had three hits for the Indians, who have lost eight straight and 12 of 13.
They lost five of seven to Oakland this season.
The losing pitcher was starter Fausto Carmona (3-12).
