
PHOENIX, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Jason Hammel held Arizona to three runs and four hits Saturday, leading the Colorado Rockies to a 10-4 win over the Diamondbacks.
Hammel (9-8) threw 110 pitches with two walks and five strikeouts before relievers Rafael Betancourt and Franklin Morales completed the six-hitter.
Jason Giambi hit a pinch-hit three-run homer in Colorado's five-run ninth.
Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitzki hit solo shots.
Ryan Spilborghs had two hits and two RBI, while Ian Stewart and Yorvit Torrealba had one RBI apiece for the Rockies, who have won two of three following a four-game losing streak.
Tulowitzki homered for a career-best fourth straight game.
Arizona's Justin Young hit a three-run homer and a sacrifice fly.
Five others had one hit each for the Diamondbacks, who have lost two of three.
The losing pitcher was starter Max Scherzer (9-10).
