Price, Haas share senior lead in Carolina

CONOVER, N.C., Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Nick Price shot a 5-under-par 67 Saturday to move into a tie with Jay Haas for the 36-hole lead in the seniors' Greater Hickory Classic.

The leaders were at 11-under 133 with first-round leader Haas, who opened with a 62, getting a 1-under 71 in the second round.

Andy Bean and Russ Cochran both had 68s Saturday to move into a tie for third at 135 with Gil Morgan (70). Fred Funk (67) is one of nine players at 8-under 136.
