COL FB: Oklahoma 45, Tulsa 0

NORMAN, Okla., Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Redshirt freshman Landry Jones set a school record with six touchdown passes Saturday to lead No. 12 Oklahoma to a 45-0 romp over Tulsa.

Jones, who completed 25-of-37 passes for 336 yards, took over as Oklahoma quarterback when Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford suffered a shoulder injury in the opening week. In two starts, Jones has thrown nine TD passes for the Sooners.

Ryan Broyles caught 11 passes for 128 yards and three touchdowns for Oklahoma (2-1). Brandon Caleb caught five passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns. DeMarco Murray caught two passes for 38 yards and a TD and ran for 60 yards on 10 carries. Chris Brown rushed for 73 yards on 16 carries.

G.J. Kinne connected on 12-of-26 passes for 106 yards and two interceptions for the Golden Hurricane (2-1). Trae Johnson had four receptions for 50 yards and Jamad Williams rushed for 39 yards on nine carries.
