
OXFORD, Miss., Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Jevan Snead passed for 209 yards and three touchdowns Saturday, powering sixth-ranked Mississippi's 52-6 win over Southeastern Louisiana.
Snead completed 16-of-28 passes for Mississippi (2-0), which has its highest ranking in 39 years.
Brandon Bolden added 105 yards on the ground on 13 carries, as the Rebels had 257 rushing yards.
Jesse Grandy, Enrique Davis and Cordera Eason each scored a touchdown on the ground for Ole Miss. Pat Patterson, Shay Hodge and Andy Hartmann all had touchdown receptions and D.T. Shackelford returned an interception for a touchdown.
Brian Babin completed 17-of-26 passes for 188 yards with an interception for Southeastern Louisiana (2-1), which was facing its highest-ranked opponent in school history.
