COL FB: LSU 31, UL-Lafayette 3

BATON ROUGE, La., Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Jordan Jefferson threw two touchdown passes to Brandon LaFell Saturday to lead seventh-ranked LSU to a 31-3 win over UL-Lafayette.

Jefferson completed 16-of-25 passes for 165 yards and an interception for the Tigers (3-0). LaFell caught three passes for 57 yards and Terrance Toliver six passes for 68 yards.

Charles Scott rushed for 63 yards on 12 carries and also caught a TD pass. Trindon Holliday also had a rushing touchdown for LSU.

Chris Masson hit on 16-of-36 passes for 159 yards and two interceptions for the Cajuns (2-1). Ladarius Green had six receptions for 64 yards and Undrea Sails rushed for 48 yards on 17 carries.
