LAWRENCE, Kan., Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Todd Reesing threw three touchdown passes Saturday, leading No. 22 Kansas to a 44-16 win over Duke.
The senior quarterback completed 28-of-41 passes for 338 yards.
Maxwell Onyegbule's 48-yard interception return for a touchdown ignited a 17-point Kansas third quarter.
Toben Opurum ran for two touchdowns.
Dezmon Briscoe scored once after six catches for 117 yards, while Jacob Branstetter added a third-quarter field goal for the Jayhawks (3-0), who gained 490 yards of total offense.
Duke quarterback Thaddeus Lewis scored on a 21-yard first-quarter run and completed 16-of-27 passes for 184 yards.
Backup Sean Renfree was 14-for-23 for 115 yards and one touchdown.
Austin Kelly caught five passes for 98 yards, while Will Snyderwine kicked a 37-yard third-quarter field goal for the Blue Devils (1-2), who fell to 2-4 lifetime against Big 12 opponents.
