MLB: Chicago White Sox 6, Seattle 3

SEATTLE, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Mark Kotsay and A.J. Pierzynski had two RBI apiece Tuesday to lead the Chicago White Sox past the Seattle Mariners 6-3.

Pierzynski singled in the eventual winning run in the seventh inning and Paul Konerko added another RBI single to make it 5-3.

Freddy Garcia (2-2) got the win with three runs on seven hits and a walk in six innings. Bobby Jenks picked up his 29th save.

Ken Griffey Jr. had a solo home run for the Mariners, who have lost seven of their last nine. Shawn Kelly (4-3) took the loss in relief of Ian Snell, who lasted six innings and gave up two runs on five hits.
