SAN DIEGO, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- San Diego drove 89 yards, capped by Darren Sproles' 5-yard burst into the end zone on a draw with 18 seconds left Monday, to pull off a 24-20 win over Oakland.

The winning nine-play drive came after the Raiders had gone ahead when JaMarcus Russell threw a 57-yard TD pass to Louis Murphy on fourth-and-14 with 2:34 remaining.

The Chargers have now beaten the Raiders 12 times in a row.

Philip Rivers connected on 24-of-36 passes for 252 yards with one score and an interception for San Diego (1-0).

LaDainian Tomlinson also scored and tallied 55 yards on 13 carries.

Russell connected on just 12-of-30 passing for 208 yards and was intercepted twice for Oakland (0-1).
