Tommie Harris' wife dies

CARSON, Calif., Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Jeff Cunningham's two goals and two assists Saturday led FC Dallas to an easy 6-3 Major League Soccer victory over Los Angeles.
Cunningham scored his 11th goal of the season in the 25th minute and his 12th in the 88th, raising his career total to 116.
He assisted on goals by Dax McCarty in the 71st and David Ferreira in the 85th.
Dave van den Bergh also scored, and Jair Benitez added one goal in the 26th for the Hoops (7-11-6), who won for just the second time on the road this season.
A.J. DeLaGarza scored in the 26th and 42nd, and Edson Buddle scored once for the Galaxy (9-5-11), who blew a chance to overtake first-place Houston in the Western Conference.
