The homer gave the Phillies a 4-0 lead with two outs in the bottom of the fifth.

Ben Francisco had two hits and an RBI for the Phillies.

Winner Kyle Kendrick (1-1) gave up two runs and seven hits in 7 1/3 innings.

New York's Anderson Hernandez hit a two-run homer.
