CLEVELAND, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Kyle Davies and two relievers combined on a two-hit shutout Sunday, allowing the Kansas City Royals to record a 7-0 rout of the Cleveland Indians.

Davies (8-9) pitched a no-hitter through five innings and departed shortly after Shin-Soo Choo's leadoff single in the bottom of the sixth.

He walked six batters with three strikeouts.

Relievers Roman Colon and Carlos Rosa finished the shutout.

John Buck led the offense with two hits -- one a solo homer -- and two RBI.

Billy Butler hit a two-run double.

Mitch Maier and Willie Bloomquist had two hits and one RBI apiece.

Mike Jacobs had one RBI, while David DeJesus added three hits for the Royals, who have won six of seven.

Matt LaPorta had the other hit for the Indians, who have lost five of six.

Losing pitcher Carlos Carrasco (0-2) surrendered five runs and eight hits in six innings.
