MIAMI, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Jorge Cantu drove in five runs Saturday, leading the Florida Marlins to an 11-3 rout of the Washington Nationals.
Cantu belted a three-run homer in the first inning and a two-run double in the third.
Cody Ross had two hits, one a solo homer, and two RBI.
Gaby Sanchez hit a two-run homer.
Brett Carroll and Hanley Ramirez had an RBI each, while Chris Coghlan added two hits for Marlins, who have won four of five.
The winner was reliever Tim Wood (1-0).
Washington's Justin Maxwell hit two solo homers.
Adam Dunn hit an RBI double and Ian Desmond had four hits for the Nationals, whose two-game winning streak ended.
The losing pitcher was starter Marco Estrada (0-1).
Rain delayed the start of the game nearly three hours.
