Tiger shoots 62 for 7-stroke BMW lead

LEMONT, Ill., Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Tiger Woods shot a 9-under-par 62 Saturday to break his own course record and take a seven-shot lead after three rounds of the BMW Championship.

Woods, gunning for his fifth BMW Championship title, stands at 16-under 197 after 54 holes. Brandt Snedeker (66) and Marc Leishman (68) are a distant second at 204.

Padraig Harrington (69) and Matt Kuchar (66) were tied for fourth place at 205.

Woods, who is 46-4 in his career with the 54-hole lead, broke the previous course record of 63 he set in 2003 and matched in 2007.
