HOUSTON, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Miguel Tejada's two-run homer Saturday sent the Houston Astros to a 4-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

His only hit and 11th homer this season broke a 2-2 tie with one out in the bottom of the seventh.

Carlos Lee also hit a two-run homer, his 25th, for the Astros, who won despite only four hits.

Houston has won three of four.

The winner was reliever Jeff Fulchino (6-4). LaTroy Hawkins pitched a scoreless eighth, while closer Jose Valverde threw a perfect ninth, earning his 23rd save.

Pittsburgh's Ramon Vazquez and Andy LaRoche had one RBI apiece. Lastings Milledge and Ronny Cedeno had two hits each for the Pirates, who have lost five in a row and 14 of 15.

Losing pitcher Ross Ohlendorf (11-10) surrendered four runs and just the four hits in 6 1/3 innings.
