COL FB: Texas 41, Wyoming 10

LARAMIE, Wyo., Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Colt McCoy threw three touchdown passes Saturday in second-ranked Texas's 41-10 victory over Wyoming.

McCoy was 30-for-47 passing for 337 yards. He also ran for a touchdown for the Longhorns (2-0).

Tre' Newton had a rushing touchdown and James Kirkendoll had seven receptions for 102 yards and a TD.

Robert Benjamin was 16-for-38 for 120 yards through the air and added 53 yards on 12 carries for the losing Cowboys (1-1).

The Longhorns led only 13-10 at halftime before breaking the game open in the third period.
