BATON ROUGE, La., Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Keiland Williams rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead ninth-ranked LSU to a 23-9 victory over Vanderbilt.
Jordan Jefferson completed 20-of-29 passes for 138 yards for the Tigers (2-0, 1-0 SEC).
Larry Smith completed 11-of-24 passes for 88 yards and an interception for the Commodores (1-1, 0-1 SEC). Zac Stacy rushed for 89 yards on 20 carries in the loss.
