COL FB: Brigham Young 54, Tulane 3

NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Max Hall threw two touchdown passes and J.J. Di Luigi and Bryan Kariya each scored twice Saturday in No. 12 BYU's 54-3 win over Tulane.

The Cougars (2-0) upset Oklahoma last Saturday for their their first win over a top-10 team since 1990.

In this week's contest, Brigham Young outpaced Tulane in yardage 527 to 162.

Hall connected on 24-of-32 passes for 309 yards. McKay Jacobson caught three passes for 79 yards, including a 38-yard touchdown. Di Luigi led the BYU ground game with 71 yards on 12 carries and Kariya rushed 12 times for 63 yards.

Tulane used three quarterbacks, with starter Joe Kemp completing 14-of-19 for 101 yards. Tulane (0-2) had four turnovers.
