HOUSTON, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Lance Berkman opened the scoring with a solo homer and Carlos Lee finished it with a three-run shot Friday in Houston's 9-1 win over Pittsburgh.

Lee's big hit highlighted a six-run seventh inning that broke open a close game. It was his 24th homer of the season.

The Pirates lost their fourth straight and are 15 setbacks away from 100 for the season. Pittsburgh has lost 100 games just twice in the past 54 years.

Bud Norris (5-3) won his second straight start after losing three in a row. He allowed a run on six hits and struck out seven in six innings.

Charlie Morton (3-8) gave up three runs on six hits in six innings to take the loss.

Pittsburgh's run came on a homer by Andy LaRoche in the fifth.
