COMMERCE CITY, Colo., Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Conor Casey scored the lone goal in the 52nd minute Saturday, giving the Colorado Rapids a 1-0 Major League Soccer win over Toronto FC.

The goal, Casey's league-leading 12th this season, came on a header with the Rapids in a two-man advantage situation.

The victory gave the Rapids (10-7-6) their third win in four games despite the absence of star midfielder Pablo Mastroeni, who has been suspended.

The Reds (8-9-7) failed to score a fourth straight time on the road and are tied for eighth place in the Eastern Conference.
