MLB: Toronto 14, New York Yankees 8

TORONTO, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Toronto's Aaron Hill drove in three runs and Juan Encarnacion and Randy Ruize had two RBI each Sunday in a 14-8 Blue Jays victory over the New York Yankees.

The Jays pounded out 15 hits and New York totaled 13.

Vernon Wells, Joe Inglett, Rod Barajas, Travis Snider and Adam Lind each drove in a run for Toronto.

Melky Cabrera belted a three-run home run and Nick Swisher had a two-run shot for the Yankees.

Winning pitcher Brian Tallet (6-9) gave up five runs and eight hits in five innings.

The loser, Sergio Mitre (3-2) was battered for 11 runs and 11 hits in 4 1/3 innings.
