MLB: Cleveland 3, Minnesota 1

CLEVELAND, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Cleveland's David Huff held Minnesota to a run and two hits over seven innings Sunday and the Indians beat the Twins 3-1.

Huff (9-7) posted his second straight win over the Twins and Kerry Wood earned his 19th save of the season.

Asdrubal Cabrera doubled in a run and Michael Brantley and Jhonny Peralta each had an RBI single for the Indians, who won twice in a three-game series.

Denard Span drove in a run for Minnesota, which has lost three of its last four contests.

Nick Blackburn (9-10) was the loser, allowing three runs and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings.
