BALTIMORE, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Melvin Mora's three hits and three RBI Saturday boosted Baltimore to a 5-4 win over the Texas Rangers.

Mora's RBI single snapped a 4-4 tie with two outs in the bottom of the fifth to produce the eventual game-winning run. He also slammed a solo homer over the left field wall in the second and batted in a run in the third.

Nolan Reimold had two hits and one RBI, and Nick Markakis added a solo homer for the Orioles, who stopped their four-game losing streak.

Winner Brian Matusz (4-2) gave up four runs and six hits in seven innings and closer Jim Johnson pitched a 1-2-3 ninth, earning his eighth save.

David Murphy led Texas with two hits, one a two-run homer.

Marlon Byrd hit an RBI double and a sacrifice fly for the Rangers, who had won four in a row.

The losing pitcher was starter Kevin Millwood (10-9).
