CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Song-Hee Kim shot the lowest 18-hole score of her three-year pro career Friday and grabbed a share of the lead at the CN Canadian Women's Open.
Kim fired a 9-under 62 over the Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club course for a two-day total of 133. That tied her with European Solheim Cup team member Suzann Pettersen, who shot a 68 Friday.
They were one stroke in front of Women's British Open champion Catriona Matthew and Lorena Ochoa, the top-ranked player in women's golf.
M.J. Hur, coming off her first LPGA Tour victory last week, was tied for fifth at 135 with Angela Stanford and Sun Young Yoo.
First-round leader Anna Rawson, who had her best round as a professional Thursday, fell back with a 73 Friday and was tied for 10th place.
Michelle Wie finished 36 holes at 3-over 145 and missed the cut for the first time in this, her rookie season on the tour.
Kim's previous best round had been a 64, shot in the opening round of the Corning Classic this year. She finished tied for third in that event.
