ST. LOUIS, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Casey McGehee's three RBI, including a two-run home run, Thursday keyed the Milwaukee Brewers' 4-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.

The homer, his 13th, capped a three-run sixth inning and gave Milwaukee a 4-2 lead. He hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth.

Prince Fielder hit an RBI groundout in the sixth for the Brewers, who won despite just six hits, two by Ryan Braun.

Winner Manny Parra (10-10) gave up two runs on five hits and two walks in 6 1/3 innings. He had five strikeouts. Closer Trevor Hoffman earned his 30th save by fanning the side in the bottom of the ninth.

Julio Lugo and Matt Holliday hit solo homers for St. Louis. Both players had three hits. Ryan Ludwick hit an RBI single for the Cardinals, whose five-game winning streak ended.

The losing pitcher was starter John Smoltz (1-1).
