
CHICAGO, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Derek Lee's two-run homer Wednesday produced the only scoring in a 2-0 win by the Chicago Cubs over the Houston Astros.
Lee hit his 27th homer this season with no outs in the bottom of the fourth following a leadoff double by Andres Blanco.
Their hits were two of four by the Cubs, who won twice in the three-game series at Wrigley Field.
Winner Ted Lilly (10-8) surrendered four hits in eight scoreless innings with no walks and five strikeouts.
Carlos Marmol earned his eighth save after giving up a hit in the top of the ninth.
Carlos Lee had two of the five hits for the Astros, who have lost three of four.
Losing pitcher Felipe Paulino (2-7) gave up two runs and four hits in six innings with two walks and seven strikeouts.
