MLB: Chicago Cubs 4, Houston 1

CHICAGO, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Rookie Randy Wells earned his 10th victory Tuesday while pitching the Chicago Cubs to a 4-1 victory over the Houston Astros.

Wells (10-7) gave up one unearned run on seven hits with two walks over 6 2/3 innings.

Milton Bradley contributed a home run in the win.

Brian Moehler (8-10) was the loser after allowing three runs on six hits in 5 1/3 frames.

Michael Bourn had three of Houston's eight hits, reaching base safely with a hit or walk for the 25th straight game.
