MLB: Houston 5, Chicago Cubs 3

CHICAGO, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Carlos Lee had a two-run homer and a four RBI Monday to lead the Houston Astros to a 5-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs.

Michael Bourn added an RBI double for the Astros, who won for just the second time in their last eight games.

Houston's Roy Oswalt (8-5) pitched seven innings to earn the win. Oswalt held the Cubs to two runs on six hits and a walk.

Chicago starter Rich Harden (8-8) gave up five runs on five hits and six walks with nine strikeouts in five innings.

Derrek Lee homered for the Cubs, who fell six games behind idle Colorado in the NL wild-card race.
