Roberts bags Boeing Classic championship

SNOQUALMIE, Wash., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Loren Roberts shot a 7-under-par 65 and won the Champions Tour's Boeing Classic at Snoqualmie, Wash., Sunday by a stroke over Mark O'Meara.

Roberts birdied the last two holes to finish at 18-under 198.

O'Meara closed with a 64 for 199 and Dan Forsman (66) and Bernhard Langer (67) were another three back at 202 at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge.

Hal Sutton (63) was fifth at 204.

Roberts won $270,000.
