MLB: Chicago Cubs 11, N.Y. Mets 4

CHICAGO, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Jake Fox hit a grand slam in a six-run fifth inning Saturday to lead the Chicago Cubs in an 11-4 victory over the New York Mets.

Fox also had an RBI double and Milton Bradley had three hits, two runs and an RBI hits for the Cubs, who have won four of their last six games. Aramis Ramirez and Mike Fontenot each had two RBI for Chicago.

Chicago's Ryan Dempster (8-7) gave up four runs on eight hits and struck out seven over six innings.

Jeff Francoeur and Brian Schneider each had a two-run double for New York, which has lost seven of eight games. Bobby Parnell (3-7) took the loss after yielding eight runs on nine hits in 4 2/3 innings.
