BALTIMORE, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Matt Wieters and Nick Markakis combined to drive in seven runs Friday and lead Baltimore to a 13-4 decision over Cleveland.

Rookie Jason Berken won his second straight decision thanks to the Orioles producing their second-largest run total of the season.

Wieters doubled in a run in the second, had an RBI single in the fourth and then drove in two more runs in the sixth with his third hit of the game. Markakis launched a three-run homer in the seventh.

Berken (4-11), allowed two runs over five innings to get the win. After struggling during the first half of the season, Berken picked up a victory last Sunday against Chicago to help the Orioles win their first series since the All-Star break.

Fausto Carmona (3-9) was roughed up for six runs on nine hits in 4 2/3 innings to take the loss. He was coming off a solid start in which he surrendered a lone run to Seattle in seven innings.

Baltimore's largest offensive explosion of the season came in a 16-6 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Aug. 14.
