CHICAGO, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Chicago Cubs outfielder Milton Bradley expressed his anger Thursday following a 5-4 loss to the Washington Nationals.
His diatribe came after his game-ending groundout with a runner in scoring position, which led to a smattering of boos from the home crowd at Wrigley Field.
"I'm always the story, whether I hit .500 or hit .100," Bradley told reporters, including MLB.com. "Somehow, some way, everything revolves back to me. I guess I'm kind of a big deal or something. People like talking about Milton Bradley -- not to my face, always behind my back."
He went 0-for-5, continuing a disappointing first season with the Cubs.
Bradley is batting .255 with 11 homers and 35 RBI and following Tuesday's 15-6 loss, he said he has faced "hatred."
"Stand out in right field one day and maybe you'll see," he said.
