SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Chris Wondolowski scored in the 90th minute Saturday, lifting San Jose to a 1-0 Major League Soccer victory against Kansas City.

The Wizards (5-9-6) suffered their third loss in a row due to solid goalkeeping by San Jose's Joe Cannon and Wondolowski's tally in stoppage time.

Kansas City goalkeeper Kevin Hartman made five saves, but Cannon made seven in his second shutout this season.

The Earthquakes (5-11-5) will travel to New England next Saturday.
