CARSON, Calif., Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Sacha Kljestan scored his first two goals this season Saturday, leading Chivas USA to a 2-0 Major League Soccer win over Toronto FC.

It was the the second straight 2-0 win for Chivas, whose previous contest was at New York Aug. 15.

Kljestan scored in each half – the 32nd minute in the first and the 51st in the second.

His timely outburst came after failing to score for more than a year.

Chivas goalkeeper Lance Parker registered his first MLS shutout without having to make any saves in the first home-field victory for the Goats (10-7-3) since June 6.

The Reds (8-8-6) tried 13 shots in all -- four by Dwayne De Rosario and five corner kicks by Amado Guevara -- with netminder Stefan Frei making three saves.
