Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

DENVER, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Ian Stewart drove in four runs Saturday, helping Colorado rally for a 14-11 win over San Francisco.
One hit, a three-run homer, helped Colorado erase a 6-3 deficit.
Todd Helton drove in three runs -- one with a solo homer. Dexter Fowler added two RBI, while Clint Barmes and Troy Tulowizki had one RBI each for the Rockies, who have won five of six.
The winner was Jorge De La Rosa (12-8).
San Francisco's Ryan Garko hit two homers, good for four RBI. Pablo Sandoval had three hits -- one a two-run homer. Nate Schierholtz also hit a two-run homer and Aaron Rowand cracked a solo shot.
Randy Winn contributed one RBI for the Giants, who have split their last four games.
The losing pitcher was reliever Justin Miller (2-2).
